Yorke Peninsula Beaches
Yorke Peninsula has many calm swimming beaches scattered along the coastline, with the best sheltered bays to be found at Marion Bay, Stansbury, Port Vincent, Point Turton, Black Point and Coobowie.
Try water sports like surfing, wind surfing, kite surfing, kayaking, snorkelling, diving, beach fishing and sailing. If you're into surfing, you'll appreciate Pondalowie Bay, Daly Head and Berry Bay.
Innes National Park offers raging seas, surfing beaches and secluded sheltered bays.
Please be aware that many of these beaches have dangerous rips. Where you swim is very dependant on the weather. We recommend that you check with one of our visitor centres to find out more information about local beaches.
