Adelaide Central Market
It buzzes with life and colour all year round and becomes a special place for plenty of regulars, who just wouldn't shop anywhere else. The market, established in 1869, trades largely in fruit, vegetables, small goods, and cafe food and is divided into a colourful array of lanes and broadways.
The Central Market will now be open on Wednesday's. The six-month trial starts on 26 November and extends trading hours to include 9am to 5.30pm on Wednesdays. Two hours of free parking will be offered at the Central Market UPark to customers who make a purchase over AUD10.00.
