State Library Of South Australia
The State Library of South Australia is one of the state's landmark cultural institutions and the world centre for South Australia's documentary heritage. Located in the heart of the city in the North Terrace Cultural Precinct, it is open seven days a week.
Visitors can stay current with the latest international newspapers and magazines, read travel guides or find information on almost any topic.
Computers are available for email, internet and word processing, along with self-service photocopiers and printers. The copy centre provides colour copying, imaging fax services. The Library also has several exhibition areas where unique items from the State Library's collections are showcased in informative displays.
Architecturally, the library combines the new and the old, with the award winning Catherine Helen Spence Wing with its iconic glass foyer flanked by the 19th century splendour and charm of the Mortlock Wing and the Institute Building.
