Willunga Almond Blossom Festival 2009
The Willunga Almond Blossom Festival is a two week Festival held in late July, early August. The Festival celebrates the first blossom of the season, an important part of the history and landscape of the area.
The Festival itself is an exciting blend of food, fun and entertainment aimed at all ages, locals and visitors from far and wide. The Willunga Almond Blossom Festival has been a major South Australian community event for 40 years, making it one of the longest running country festivals in South Australia.
The celebrations attract total crowds upwards of 15,000 people and are a showcase of all the Willunga and the surrounding areas have to offer. We welcome everyone to "warm up in historic Willunga", were you can enjoy the local cafes, restaurants, wineries, art galleries, almond blossom and historic walks as well as the Festival program.
