West End Mighty River Run 2010
Fasten your lifejackets, fire up your outboards and get ready to 'cruise for a cause', when the state's largest and longest floating fundraiser hits the Murray River once again!
The 2010 West End Mighty River Run casts off from Loxton on Monday 22 November, cruising through Waikerie, Blanchetown, Swan Reach and Mannum, before concluding at Wellington on Friday 26 November.
The Mighty River Run takes up to 40 boats and their crews on a five-day trip along the Murray, taking in many spectacular sights of this magnificent river.
Each night is spent at a different location, spending time in towns and homesteads along the way. Days and nights are filled with activities, entertainment and games that everyone can enjoy.
The idea to take a flotilla of boats along the mighty Murray River was brought to Novita by two of our dedicated Ambassadors, John Riddell (Channel 7, Mix 102.3) and Jason 'Snowy' Carter (Mix 102.3).
Over the past three years, more than AUD255,000 has been raised by the event for Novita Children's Services.
