Southern Flinders Champagne Trail Horse Ride
The Southern Flinders Champagne Trail Horse Ride is a slow paced horse ride where you can enjoy beautiful farming scenery with the Southern Flinders Ranges in the background and warm spring weather.
The emphasis is on locally grown foods and wines, from gourmet steaks and saltbush lamb to Spencer Gulf prawns. The region has a growing reputation for fine wines so wineries will have their produce on display.
Each night there will be entertainment in the form of an auction, quiz night, formal dinner in the forest and red faces night for all to participate in. On the last day we will have fresh Spencer Gulf prawns and champagne outside the Wirrabara Hotel before departure.
This is the only opportunity for horse riders to be fettered and indulged in South Australia. We hope to make this an annual event.
