National & Conservation Parks
Spectacular scenery, heritage walks, wildlife, camping and bush walking - Adelaide Hills National Parks have it all.
There's Belair National Park - South Australia's oldest national park and undoubtedly one of the most popular. It's only 13 kilometres from the Adelaide city centre. You'll find natural woodlands and open forests interspersed with picnic facilities, tennis courts and Belair Park Golf Course.
Cleland Conservation Park is home to spectacular Mount Lofty Summit and Waterfall Gully, and also Cleland Wildlife Park, an open range sanctuary in a bushland setting where you can interact with Australian wildlife.
And then there's Morialta Conservation Park, with its stunning scenery. The best way to experience Morialta it is on one of its walking trails. One of these leads to First Falls - a picturesque waterfall created by a creek that plunges over a 30 metre cliff into a natural pool. The cliff area between Second and Third Falls are designated for rock climbing and abseiling. And you can see wildlife in its natural habitat here.
