Breweries & Coopers

Head to the Barossa Brewing Company in Greenoch, a boutique brewery where they "take beer seriously". The company's hallmarks are natural ingredients, tradition and quality. It produces small batches of pure, traditionally fermented beers, hand-crafted from the best ingredients available. The company uses the German Beer Purity Law of 1516 as its model.

The Barossa Brewing Company is open tastings and sales Saturday and Sunday from 11.00am to 4.00 pm. They will gladly show off the Wheat Store facility. At other times, their brews are available at the Greenock Creek Tavern, just 120 paces up the road.

Or step back in time and see the authentic age old craft of keg making at the Keg Factory in Tanunda.

The coopers at The Keg Factory create individual hand-crafted port kegs using American and French Oak. Kegs can be round, oval or vat shape and two to twenty litres capacity. They also make wine racks to individual designs and cask garden tubs. Find them on Hallett Road, Tanunda.
