Dining out in the Barossa

drag onto travel planner

When you're visiting the Barossa, make time to stop at some of these outstanding Barossa restaurants and hotels.

The Barossa boasts fabulous award-winning dining experiences including Vintners Bar & Grill and 1918 - both Barossa institutions, offering consistently excellent regional food, accompanied by exciting domestic and international wines.
Dine in the Barossa, South Australia
Appellation was the winner of the Best Regional Restaurant in 2006 Adelaide Food Awards and the 2007 Gourmet Traveller Restuarant Guide. It offers fine dining inspired by fresh food, wine and produce from the Barossa region. It's located within The Louise, a luxury vineyard retreat.

For casual dining don't miss The Clubhouse, Valley Hotel or the Tanunda Hotel. At the Krondorf Road Café at Kabminye Wines, the passionate Glastonbury family share with visitors traditional cuisine and wine varieties of the pioneer settlers.

Some exciting new choices include The Lord Lyndoch and The Monkey Nut Café in Lyndoch, or Blond Coffee in Angaston.

You can get delicious pretzels and other yummy bakery goods at the Tanunda Bakery, and to keep a smile on the kids' faces, visit Tanunda's Ice Creamery on the main street for a delicious selection of traditional and unusual flavours. Bookings are recommended as the locals have a healthy appetite too!
