With more than 4800 kilometres of coastline and our part of the Murray River weaving through 650 kilometres, fishing is big in South Australia. Dangle a line from the jetty or the riverbank, rake for crabs just off the beach, take the boat out where the whiting are biting or join a charter out to big fish territory.

Tips and regulations
A number of fishing regulations are in force to protect our precious supply of fish.  Some species of fish are protected, while others have closed seasons.  Be aware that size and bag limits apply for some species, so find out before you fish.
