The Kingston Lions Club Surf Fishing Competition is Australia's largest surf fishing contest and is set along 83 kilometres of the Coorong Beach from Kingston SE to Ti-Tree. Pit your skills against recreational anglers from around the country. Prize money in excess of AUD20,000.

Nangula Country Market
Every second Sunday of the month, except January 
Indulge in cakes, pastries and scones. Browse through crockery, hardware, farm produce and small goods with light luncheons available. This is one of South Australia's oldest markets.

Naracoorte Country Market
Second Saturday of each month
Come here for a barbecue, scones, tea and coffee and more - in fact there are 20-30 stalls at each market day.
