Travel by Car
Travelling by car is the most convenient way to experience the Murraylands.
From Adelaide take the South Eastern Freeway (M1) to Murray Bridge. From Victoria take the Princes Highway (A1) or Western/Dukes Highway (A8) through Tailem Bend. From Sydney (NSW) travel via the Mallee Highway (B12) to Pinnaroo or through Sunraysia/Riverland via Sturt Highway (A20) and take (B55) via Loxton.
Travel By Bus/Coach
Coach travel from Adelaide to Murray Bridge is available seven days via the Murray Bridge Passenger Service. Connecting buses are available to Mannum, Tailem Bend, Meningie, Pinnaroo, Lameroo, Monarto, Callington, Kanmantoo and Nairne. The Murray Bridge Visitor Information Centre has timetables - call them on +61 8 8539 1142 .
Ferry Services
Ferries for vehicles cross the river at Mannum, Purnong, Swan Reach, Tailem Bend, Walker Flat and Wellington within the Murraylands. Ferry services are also available at various locations throughout the Riverland. Ferries operate 24 hours, seven days, and are free.
