Riverland Camping
Go camping in tranquil surrounds in the Riverland.
There's campsites among mallee gums, along the River Murray and adjoining creeks. Camping offers relaxation, adventure and the opportunity to get close to nature.
Pitch your tent in Katarapko, opposite the town of Loxton. Access is by a sealed road just past the township of Glossop. Or try Lyrup Flats, on the northern side of the river opposite the township of Lyrup. And Danggali Conservation Park lies 90 kilometres north of Renmark, known for its vastness and wilderness appeal. Details on these parks is available at the Parks website - just choose the name of the park you're interested in.
Permits are available from visitor information centres throughout the Riverland and the Berri Department of Environment and Heritage office at 28 Vaughan Terrace. Read more about park passes at the Parks website passes page.
When visiting some parks, it's advisable to inform a ranger of your travel plans prior to leaving. Contact the Berri Office on (08) 8595 2111. If you plan to visit Danggali Conservation Park contact +61 8 8595 8010.
