The Riverland Field Days is an agricultural and horticultural expo and is broadly based with many exhibits of interest to the whole community. The principal focus is in horticulture with emphasis on irrigation. However, there is a wide range of exhibits in crafts, home improvements, personal care, clothing and others.

The Barmera Main Street Markets are the award winning 'Family Markets' catering for the whole family.
The market endeavours to have stalls to suit the whole family such as food, jewellery, clothes, toys, furniture, tools, books, bric-a-brac, plants, scrap booking and fresh produce as well as new stalls all the time.
Loxton's 91st Annual Spring Show 2010
3-4 October
Loxton's 91st Annual Spring Show is a great weekend of fun for the whole family.
This year's show will again feature a great variety of attractions and entertainment such as an animal nursery with different types of animals, an array of exhibits in agriculture, horticulture, floriculture, vegetables, amateur wine making and brewing. The traditional show favourites are not forgotten with log chopping, sheaf tossing and horses-in-action.
Riverland Wine & Food Festival
14-17 October
The Riverland Wine & Food Festival helps you discover the region's wine and food industry, the Murray River, and some spectacular tourism spots. The Riverland comes alive during the event, with wine, food, multicultural fun and celebrations.
14-17 October
The 2010 State Barmera Sheep Dog Trail will be held on Barmera Oval.
The event will comprise of two separate competitions; The State Sheep Dog Trail (14 to 16 October) and the Champion of Champions Test (17 October).
Border collie working dogs from interstate and all of South Australia will compete to move three sheep through an obstacle course within 15 minutes. Points are deducted for sheep that move off the set course or do not complete the obstacles.
15-24 October
If you're a rose or garden lover you will thoroughly enjoy a visit to Renmark in October for their annual Rose Festival.
The festival is full of activities, displays and demonstrations that will enthuse and delight those who appreciate natures' beauty.
27 November
The combination of activities, displays, shopping and festivities presents a colourful and exciting experience for visitors and community members alike. Come along to the official opening of Loxton's Christmas Festival - there'll be plenty to see and do.
27 Nov to 31 Dec
Throughout the four and a half week program, hundreds of cars and many coach loads of visitors tour the streets to experience the delights of Santa's Walk, Christmas Wonderland and other light displays throughout the township. Full program details will be available mid-September 2010.
