Join Haydyn on a trip into his traditional homelands and share a culture over 40,000 years old. Listen to Adnyamathanha creation stories at traditional significant sites and see ancient paintings and engravings. Learn about the history of the area in the beautiful Ranges landscape with rugged mountains, scenic gorges, ruins of early settlement and abundant wildlife.
Tour highlights include morning tea in Port Germein. Wadlata Outback Centre, Port Augusta. Lunch at the Austral Hotel, Quorn. Visit an ancient Aboriginal cave painting site. Stay at the Wilpena Pound Resort, an optional 30 minute scenic flight is available time permitting (own expense). Visit a gorge to see ancient Aboriginal engravings. Travel to the Prairie Hotel at Parachilna for lunch. Enjoy a Pichi Richi Camel Farm 'Camel to Candlelight Dinner' tour. Stay overnight at the Austral Hotel, Quon. On day three continue to the Clare Valley wine region, visit the historic old Gladstone Goal and enjoy wine tasting in the Clare Valley. Return to Adelaide.
