The South Australian Tourism, in conjunction with some of Australia's leading magazines, recently sent some lucky readers on a special South Australian holiday.

The winner's experienced a selection of the nation's best food, wine, indulgence and adventure. Find out what they thought of South Australia by following their journeys below.
Four lucky winners - Ron, Margaret, Julie and Melanie - spent a few days winding down on a houseboat on the Murray River, trying out high speed water adventures, and filling up on great South Aussie food and wine.
 
Winners Catherine and Anna experienced seafood and scenery on the coast, a whole bunch of wineries in McLaren Vale, Harleys in the Hills, shopping in the city and - not surprisingly - they left with a little extra baggage.
This was no slow meandering tour, but a full on action-packed five days. Winners Victor and Daniel experienced remarkable scenery and adventure, fuelled by a mixture of South Australian gourmet and unusual food.
Three pairs of winners. Three itineraries. Steve and Yvonne were wined and dined in the Barossa and Clare Valley, Emily and Jordy enjoyed the best of Adelaide and Adelaide Hills, Lindy and Adam discovered the Fleurieu Peninsula. 
Rosie and Kon spent five jam-packed (and wine packed) days discovering the delights of Adelaide and Australia's most famous wine region, the Barossa Valley, touring world renowned wineries and cellar doors.
