Lindy & Adam discovered the glorious Fleurieu Peninsula. They lunched atop a cliff by the ocean, learnt the art of olive-oil and ricotta making and indulged on fresh regional produce.
“Walking into Bottego was like walking into a little taste of Italy - lots of stunning pannaforte, pannetone, torrone and other Christmas treats. Valli whipped up a stunning Middle Eastern style lamb dish with asparagus raita - A great start to the trip.” Lindy

“It was fabulous to enjoy dinner with the other lucky prize winners (also passionate foodies) at Farina Kitchen & Bar. Dinner was a lovely combination of Valli's recipes - along with those from the Farina chef.” Lindy

“We had an excellent tour of the Steam Exchange Brewery thanks to Simon the brewmaster who was very knowledgeable, hospitable and most importantly - SUPER PASSIONATE!” Adam

“We enjoyed a delightful degustation lunch with matching wines for several hours. Unfortunately we didn't make it to Blessed Cheese as we were still savouring lunch at 3.30pm!” Lindy

“The olives at The Olive Groves were some of the best I've ever eaten.” Adam

“It was here on day one that we realised we'd have to do some freighting of boxes home” Lindy

“Italian inspired Coriole is such a charming place to visit. I loved the wines they are making out of Italian original varieties such as Fiano, Sangiovese and Nebbiolo.” Adam

“Russell - what a fascinating bloke!” Lindy

“Russells' pizza had been seriuosly hyped up - how was it going to meet our expectations? Well, it did. Pizzas wonderul as was the bloke behind the name.” Adam
"At Willunga Farmers Makets we tried (and purchased) new seasons apricots, nectarines, peaches, plums and cherries - along with almonds, pastries and goats cheese.” Adam

“Star of Greece's beachy décor, the stunning views, the service - and not forgetting - the food! My favourite dish was the calamari” Adam

“After lunch at Star of Greece we enjoyed a leisurely stroll along the beach, chatting to the fisherman about the days catch, and working up an appetite for dinner.”

“At the Normanville Beach Café, inspired by the sunset over the bay we just had to have the beer-battered whiting.” Adam

“… feeling a bit wined out we opted for an icy cold Coopers  at the Normanville Beach Café and enjoyed the sunset and views of Cape Jervis from the balcony…” Lindy

“My initial apprehension was put aside by our calming and charming pilot Martin. He described all the features of the lovely machine as we took off every so gently to explore the glorious coastline and patchwork of vineyards and farming areas of the Fleurieu Peninsula." Lindy
