Rosie and Kon spent five jam-packed (and wine packed) days discovering the delights of Adelaide and Australia's most famous wine region, the Barossa, touring world renowned wineries and cellar doors.

Arrive in Adelaide and transfer by limousine
Dinner at The Stag
Accommodation: Majestic Roof Garden Hotel
“Adelaide has some amazing architecture. I was struck by the beautiful sandstone buildings.” Rosie

"Dinner at the Stag was fantastic. The European cuisine, the simple yet elegant setting and the friendly staff made it a memorable night.” Kon
Tour the Barossa with Barossa Daimler Tours
Enjoy wine tastings at Peter Lehmann Wines
Dinner at Appellation
Accommodation: Peppers. The Louise
“Seppelts was my most anticipated visit of the day and we had the opportunity to taste the Sparkling Shiraz and compare the five, ten and 21 year tawny ports, the 21 year old is definitely a treat!” Rosie

“The pick of South Australian wines was sublime. My palate was entertained to an amazing array of wines from sweet to dry specialties, combined with the knowledge of how each variety was grown enhanced my appreciation.” Kon
“The amazing array of food and wine the Barossa has to offer literally did allow us to eat ourselves silly. From local smallgoods smoked by traditional methods, to the fine cheeses and dried fruits of the region. We were very impressed by the great array and quality of everything we tasted.” Rosie

“Our six course meal at Appellation was accompanied by a range of premium local wines, many of which we were advised are not for public sale. From the tasting plate of duck, Coorong Butterfish to the final course of Blue Cheese Pannacotta - our taste buds were delighted, a memorable experience.” Rosie
Visit the Barossa Farmers Market
Lunch at Salter's Winery
Spend a relaxing afternoon at Peppers. The Louise
Dine under the stars at Vintner's Bar & Grill
“Peppers. The Louise is amazing. Set amongst a working vineyard the suites offer all that can be desired. Attention to detail is apparent from an espresso maker to an outdoor rain shower in your own private courtyard. A most tranquil and luxurious place to unwind and be treated like royalty.” Rosie

“At the Barossa Farmers Market, with each greeting smile there is a beautiful story to tell about the history of the region, the heritage of the people and the love that binds them to the Barossa.” Kon

“Fresh cheeses, smoked meats, honey, organic olive oils and local wild flowers were some of the wide array of products from around the Barossa region for sale at the Farmers Markets. Every store holder also had a story to tell with my favourite stall being the handmade chocolates!” Rosie

“At Vintner's Bar & Grill, from entrée to dessert, the meals were delicately prepared and presented and I simply loved the chocolate mousse and mocha ice-cream desert.” Kon
Make your own blend at Penfolds Winery
Take a helicopter flight over the Barossa
Enjoy lunch at Cafe Y, Yaldara Estate Wines
Return to Adelaide
Accommodation: Majestic Roof Garden Hotel
“The best way to view the sprawling Barossa vineyards is definitely from the air. Although maybe not for the faint hearted, our flight was amazing on a perfect clear and sunny day and you could literally see both Adelaide and Yorke Peninsula in the far distance.” Rosie

“At Penfolds mixing blends of wine was a most enjoyable experience. More than once did laughter and squeals of enthusiasm and despair reverberate around the laboratory. Finally I did make an interesting blend although I doubt that it was as good as the professionals.” Kon
Indulge in a 1 hour massage at Endota Spa
Travel by Harley along the coastline
Lunch at Stella Restaurant overlooking the ocean
Travel by Harley to the airport and depart Adelaide
“Back in Adelaide, enjoyed a 1 hour massage then jumped on a Harley for a tour of the coast. Great fun. South Australians are fortunate to have so much on their doorstep. Truly a beautiful place to visit.” Rosie

“The Barossa was spellbinding for a multiple of reasons. The history combined with the culture and traditions that evolved over time manifest within the architecture, local trades, food and wine, it was simply amazing.” Kon

“Whether you like the beach or the hills, there  is something for all tastes, and you really can  get lost in enjoying the vast array of fine food and wine the Barossa has to offer. ” Rosie

“South Australia is a naturally beautiful and serene environment with a rich heritage and culture. South Australia is a special place.” Kon
