The Ceduna Oysterfest is a free-entry, premier Eyre Peninsula community event with a focus on family activities, competitions, regional food and wine, a carnival with sideshows, arts installations and projects, cooking demonstrations, live music and an arts & craft market.
Best known for serving up the freshest, juiciest Smoky Bay oysters in their prime, as well as the legendary Oyster Shuck & Eat Competition, the 2017 Oysterfest will feature an improved food & wine court with large-scale shade, outdoor music stage, new food events, a tourist lounge, cooking demonstrations by Chef Simon Bryant and performances by Amber Joy Poulton & The Holy Men, the Damushi Ensemble and Chris Sperou Aerobatics.
Located on the picturesque Ceduna foreshore lawns the Oysterfest gives visitors a relaxed and entertaining way of enjoying Eyre Peninsula hospitality at it's best, with a program sure to have something for every member of the family. Preferred accommodation can book out quickly for this annual event, so its best to plan early to avoid disappointment.
