Remember Me: The Lost Diggers of Vignacourt exhibition
Remember Me: The Lost Diggers of Vignacourt is a poignant photographic exhibition based on portrait images taken of the Australian soldiers serving in Vignacourt, France during World War One. On display at the State Library of South Australia until 19 October.
Bay to Birdwood Run 2014
Marvellous veteran, vintage and early classic vehicles take the stage for the biennial Bay to Birdwood Run. After departing the Adelaide Shores these magnificent machines make their way to the National Motor Museum where a day of festivities awaits, Sunday 28 September.
AFL Masters National Carnival
AFL Masters National Carnival is a carnival of fun Australian Football League (AFL) football games for players 35 and older. Held in Adelaide from 28 September to 4 October, the competition is between state teams in age groups from Over 35s, up to the Over 55s. The event features an official opening ceremony at the Marion Sports Club followed by the popular sprints and drop kicks competitions. Spectators are well to come and cheer the participants at all the games.
