Adelaide United FC Versus Perth Glory
Adelaide United FC versus Perth Glory FC is the battle of two revamped sides on the rise and is a soccer game not to be missed. This is round two of the Hyundai A-League soccer season. Star Perth recruit Youssouf Hersi has a point to prove after his controversial exit from Western Sydney, while Adelaide United will be raring to go for their first game of the season at Coopers Stadium after an exciting draw with Melbourne Victory last round. Games open from 4.30pm Sunday 26 October.
The Rolling Stones
The legendary rock band The Rolling Stones are coming to play the legendary Adelaide Oval. The Rolling Stones will play a one off spectacular concert to celebrate the opening of the AUD535.00 million redeveloped stadium. Come and see Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts as they perform in Adelaide for one night only. Mick Taylor, a member of the band from 1969 to 1974 will be a special guest at this concert.
Japanese Film Festival
The Japanese Film Festival, the largest Japanese film festival outside of Japan, showcases the best in contemporary Japanese cinema - from anime to action, and everything in between, including releases that are now showing in Japanese theatres. 12 titles will feature in the Adelaide program, eight of which are Australian premieres. 10 to 19 October.
