All year round there are great events in South Australia to keep you entertained. Great sporting events through summer like the World Tennis Challenge, Santos Tour Down Under, food and wine events and community events like the Brighton Jetty Classic Sculptures.
In the cooler months enjoy the Adelaide Cabaret Festival, OzAsia Festival, BankSA Sea and Vines Festival and Barossa Gourmet Weekend.

Adelaide Running Festival
The Adelaide Running Festival will be held on 24 August. The event incorporates the Adelaide Marathon for runners, plus a half marathon (walk or run) and a 10 kilometre walk or run. The race countdown will be done by the Race Ambassador, Mr Steve Monegetti OAM. The course is a two loop course of the Adelaide City and Parklands, through Adelaide's sport, art, wine, science, leisure and conservation regions, with the race starting and finishing at the stunning new Adelaide Oval.
Winter Food and Wine Festival
At the Winter Food and Wine Festival at the National Wine
Centre on Sunday 24 August you can taste more than 30 different wines, ciders
and beers from McLaren Vale, Clare Valley, Adelaide Hills and Barossa. The centre's Executive Chef Phillip Pope will cook up some decadent winter treats
using seasonal ingredients. Join an
exclusive wine tasting masterclass with a regional winemaker or browse the
Market Home Base for fresh seasonal produce.
South Australian Living Artists Festival 2014
The 2014 South Australian Living Artists (SALA) Festival will inspire, captivate, challenge and engage you to the works of thousands of emerging and established South Australian artists. The works of photographers, sculptors, painters, textile artists and more will be displayed throughout participating galleries, restaurants, cafes, pubs and wineries to name but a few venues across metropolitan and regional South Australia. It is all completely free. 1 to 24 August.
