Bublacowie Military Museum

  • Pets allowed
  • Disabled access

At the Bublacowie Museum you'll find medals, uniforms and memorabilia, as well as the very personal photographs and memorabilia of local servicemen and women who served their country in all major conflicts.

Built on the grounds of the Bublacowie school, the museum keeps alive the memories of the sacrifices made by so many and helps young people learn about our military history. The venue is set on two acres of native trees and shrubs, an oasis in the midst of the very rich wheat and barley growing area of the Yorke Peninsula.

Operator Chris lives on site in the former schoolhouse. The school itself was closed in 1943 and recently renovated into a charming residence. The resident ducks, guinea fowl, and fan-tailed pigeons wander free in this delightful setting.

While visiting don't forget to browse through the craft centre where you will find all sorts of local products.
