Ultimate food, wine and classic car day tour of the Barossa Valley departing from Adelaide. Let Auburn Tours offer an alternative to wine tasting and driving. At the same time, enjoy an unforgettable experience being driven around this world renowned wine producing region in a very rare 1935 Auburn convertible.
Tour begins with pick up in a luxury four wheel drive vehicle. Travel via the north east suburbs, through the picturesque village of Inglewood, past the Milbrook Reservoir, charming Gumeracha and follow the upper Torrens Valley to the town of Birdwood. (At this time, an option of visiting the National Motor Museum can be included, but with less time available in the Auburn tour vehicle). From Birdwood we travel on to Mount Pleasant, then via the Eden Valley on to Henschke Wines at Keyneton. (An optional visit to Mountadam Vineyard is available on Sundays). Back to Angaston for a refreshment stop and enjoy a leisurely drive with lunch (venue is flexible and can include either a platter at a winery, restaurant meal or perhaps a gourmet picnic basket) and a number of wine tastings at some historical and boutique wineries, before we return to Adelaide.
