Surf and Sun offer a range of learn to surf options. We offer lessons at Middleton Beach all year round. Beginners, all ages and stages, corporate groups, schools and families welcome. All you need to bring is your swimmers and a towel.

Join us for a Learn to Surf Adventure Day including two surf lessons, lunch, and transport from Adelaide, then spend the night at one of Australia’s best beach hostels – The Port Elliot Beach House YHA. The following morning you join in with our Action Packed Kangaroo Island Two Day/One Night Wildlife Adventure, catching the 9am Sealink ferry. We arrive on the island at around 10am, and then head off on an action packed two days, visiting Seal Bay, Little Sahara, Admirals Arch, Remarkable Rocks, Flinders Chase National Park, Birds of Prey show, and beautiful north coast beaches.

Transport is in a 21-seat minibus, and the tour includes sand-boarding, hiking, sightseeing, and wildlife watching. Accommodation is at our own private farm stay, where you can stay in a comfortable bed or rollout a swag under the stars. All linen is provided. After an action packed two days we return on the 7:30pm ferry and arrive in Adelaide around 10:30pm.

Learn to surf in Adelaide with Surf and Sun. We pick you up at approximately 8.30am from your Adelaide central business district accommodation. We drive to Middleton for a two-hour surf lesson on Middleton Beach with our qualified instructors. After the surf lesson it is time for a picnic lunch, followed by a second two-hour surf lesson before the scenic drive back to Adelaide.

Join Surf and Sun as we head to Kangaroo Island driving down the Fleurieu Peninsula to catch the 9am Sealink Ferry. We arrive on the island at around 10am, and then we head off on an action packed two days visiting Seal Bay, Little Sahara, Admirals Arch, Remarkable Rocks, Flinders Chase National Park, Birds of Prey show, and beautiful North Coast beaches.

Transport is in a 21-seat minibus and the tour includes sand-boarding, hiking up to four kilometres, sightseeing and wildlife viewing. Accommodation is at our farm in dorm style rooms or you can roll a swag out under the stars, all linen is provided.

After an action packed two days we return on the 7.30pm ferry and arrive in Adelaide at around 10.30pm.

They include two-by-two hour surf lessons each day, lunch each day, transport to and from Adelaide, surf boards, rash tops, sunscreen, full length wetsuits, and accredited instructors. Accommodation is at Port Elliot Beach House YHA. On middle days at camp, you will be either collected or given free bike hire to ride 10 minutes along the coast to your lessons.
