After our friendly staff take your photo (with your camera) standing next to the helicopter, you are guided to your seat and strapped in. Once you are wearing your seat belt, personal headset, and are comfortable, the pilot starts the helicopter for the ride of your life.

Lifting off from the helipad your pilot will guide you on a flight that will take you over Hoffnungsthal (one of the first German settlement sites in the Barossa Valley), and on to Jacob’s Creek where you will see the creek that the famous wine is named after!

After seeing a few wineries and the stunning views, you are taken over the town of Lyndoch to the Whispering Wall. If you have not heard of or visited this fantastic man made feature, your pilot will tell you all about it.

Once you have taken a photo or two of the wall, we pass Williamstown on our right on our way back to the Hoffnungsthal Valley base.

Flying towards Seppeltsfield and Marananga, past Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop and Penfold’s at Nuriootpa, we then continue north past Wolf Blass and over Angaston where you will see Penrice Quarry, Lindsay Park Thoroughbred Stud, and Yalumba.

Leaving Angaston, we fly over Tanunda and South to Jacob’s Creek where you will see the creek that the famous wine is named after!

Flying south from the Whispering Wall you will see the city of Adelaide, suburbs, and the stunning coast. Keeping the hills between the plane and the city, we fly over the Big Rocking Horse at Gumeracha, towards Hahndorf, and over the beautiful rolling hills of the Adelaide Hills region. Heading back towards Angaston, we see Penrice Quarry, Lindsay Park Thoroughbred Stud, and Yalumba.

As we fly towards Nuriootpa, we go over Tanunda and south to Jacob’s Creek where you will see the creek that the famous wine is named after!

We also fly over Hoffnungsthal Valley before returning to the helipad.
