Adelaide Oval is widely regarded as the most picturesque test cricket ground in the world, with St Peter's Cathedral rising behind an elegant Edwardian scoreboard and Moreton Bay fig trees at the northern end. The oval is currently being newly developed and once complete will place Adelaide on the global map for a range of international and national entertainment and sporting events.
Take a tour of the oval with experienced guides who will guide you through the western grandstand, scoreboard and Clarrie Grimmett gates.
Tours run Monday to Friday at 10am, except on public holidays, match days and when the oval is being prepared for international events. During the South Australian cricket season (October to March) additional tours operate every Tuesday and Thursday commencing at 2pm starting from the Clarrie Grimmett gates at the northern end of Adelaide Oval. Bookings for individuals or small groups are not required.
Please note: Guided tours of Adelaide Oval will stop on 11 March 2013 due to the oval redevelopment and will resume some time in October 2013.
