A Taste of South Australia departing Sydney or Perth

This five day Indian Pacific train journey departs from Sydney to Adelaide, Perth to Adelaide or Perth to Sydney.

Highlights include Adelaide, McLaren Vale, Adelaide Hills and Barossa Valley wine regions. Day one, join the Indian Pacific, enjoy dinner along with panoramic views of the Blue Mountains heading west through New South Wales into the outback. Day two, explore the unique outback city of Broken Hill on a Whistle Stop Tour (additional cost) before arriving in Adelaide. Day three, visit the picturesque wine regions of McLaren Vale and the Adelaide Hills and delight in the tastes of wine and local produce. On day four discover the flavours of the world famous Barossa Valley wine region, visit well known wineries and food producers and enjoy the best foods the region has to offer. Day five, package concludes in Adelaide.

Flinders Outback Escape departing Sydney or Perth

This six day Indian Pacific train journey departs from Sydney to Adelaide, Perth to Adelaide or Perth to Sydney.

Highlights include Adelaide, Clare Valley, Flinders Ranges and Wilpena Pound. Day one join the Indian Pacific train. Day two, explore Broken Hill on a Whistle Stop Tour (additional cost) before arriving in Adelaide. Day three visit Clare Valley wineries before continuing to the Flinders Ranges, habitat of Australia’s famous wildlife – kangaroos, emus and many species of birds and reptiles. Travel through vast sheep station country with an opportunity to visit a ghost town. Spend two nights at the Wilpena Pound Resort in the heart of the Flinders Ranges. Optional Wilpena Pound scenic flights are available at additional cost. Day four, travel through Bunyeroo and Brachina Gorges, where millions of years of history and the oldest fossils of animal life on Earth are preserved, enjoy lunch at the Prairie Hotel, Parachilna. Day five, travel through Moralana Scenic Drive and the Pichi Richi Pass and Devils Peak to the high country with views over Spencer Gulf. Day six package concludes in Adelaide.
