Intrepid Connections

Intrepid Connections, the youth and adventure division of Australian Pacific Touring, operate two day wilderness safaris to Kangaroo Island, with a great emphasis on nature and scenery throughout the tours.

Experience the culture, local environment and participating in activities whilst travelling, such as helping prepare meals, collecting firewood and setting up camp.

Two Day Kangaroo Island Highlights - SKI23

Day One: Adelaide to Kangaroo Island.
Join Connections departing Adelaide bound for a mid morning arrival onto Kangaroo Island. Tour through island habitats and see wildlife in its natural environment. Keep an eye out for echidnas, wallabies, reptiles and koalas. At spectacular Seal Bay; walk amongst the sea lions as they bask on the beach or among the sand dunes; an unforgettable experience! Enter our exclusive heritage listed natural bush property to enjoy a delicious gourmet picnic lunch with wine. As the day draws to a close, see kangaroos leave the safety of the bush to begin grazing on the open pastures.

Day Two: Flinders Chase National Park, Remarkable Rocks to Adelaide.
Travel to the western section of the island and explore remarkable Flinders Chase National Park, home to a variety of fauna and flora unique to Kangaroo Island. See at close range some fur seals in their colony at Cape du Couedic and discover the unique remarkable rocks. Visit the rock formation at Admirals Arch. A delicious gourmet picnic lunch with wine will be servved in a secluded bush setting. Enter the Kelly Hill Conservation Park to see kangaroos and other native wildlife grazing in the open plains. Your tour concludes tonight in time for an evening flight to Adelaide or a 7.30pm ferry return to the mainland.
