Join us for a once in a life-time opportunity to learn of and experience traditional law and culture many thousands of years old. In partnership with Desert Tracks and the Angangu Pitjantjajara people of Central Australia we are proud to offer you the chance to have the traditional owners show us their country and culture. Our fourteen day 4WD tour takes us into traditional land, escorted by Anganu guides. Their local knowledge is vital as, for part of the journey, there are no tracks. We will be visiting traditional sites and listening to the Elders explain to us how work, song, dance, story telling and art are part of a living culture many thousands of years old. Rough red dirt tracks to Uluru from where we head to Mt Connor the third icon of central Australia. We then follow the tracks of early European explorers with a dusty, rocky drive to Chambers Pillar, Mt Dare, Dalhousie Springs, Oodnadatta and visiting the highlights of the Oodnadatta Track. At Port Augusta we finish our tour in the wake of Mathew Flinders.
