Get up close to our unique wildlife, whilst experiencing the wonderful, unspoilt landscapes of Kangaroo Island.
Kangaroo Island is a wildlife wonder, home to over 250 species of birds, 850 varieties of plants, as well as many Australian sea lions and New Zealand fur seals. Observe the kangaroos, wallabies and koalas in their natural habitats and penguins nesting on the island’s craggy shoreline, or perhaps meet an echidna, platypus or goanna. The spectacular coastline, pristine beaches, and remote wilderness of Kangaroo Island are renowned worldwide, yet still unspoilt, making this a truly unique destination to explore many of Australia's treasures.
Tour highlights include Eucalyptus Distillery, trek Little Sahara dunes, birds of prey demonstration, walk among Australian sea lions at Seal Bay, Kelly Hill Caves, walk to Hanson Bay, Flinders Chase National Park wildlife, fur seal colony at Cape du Couedic and Remarkable Rocks, walk to Rocky River and platypus waterholes, walk to lonely Cape Borda Lighthouse and walk along the Ravine de Casours.
From May to October this trip can be taken in conjunction with Flinders Ranges and Heysen Trail or Uluru and Outback Trails as extended tour option at extra cost.
