Travel Planner - Learn More

The Travel Planner helps you to organise your ideal South Australian holiday in just three simple steps:

STEP 1:
As you explore SouthAustralia.com and see pages or items that you would like to keep track of, just drag the “Drag to Travel Planner” bar across to the shaded Travel Planner box. These bars are usually located near the top of each page, like the one above that sits under the "Travel Planner - Learn More" heading on this page.



Click on “STEP 2” to start organising your holiday. To remove items from your list, drag them to the rubbish bin image above the “STEP 2” button.


STEP 2:
To start organising your holiday, simply drag your items to one of the day columns on the left. As you add more items to each day, you are building up a travel plan that you can mix and match as you please.



Handy hint: To make the most of the other features of the Travel Planner, place the items in the order you plan to visit them, with the place you will visit first at the top.


STEP 3:
Congratulations, you have almost finished planning your holiday!

There are a variety of tools to help you finalise your plans:



ADD a day:
This will add another day to your travel plan.

CREATE a new travel plan:  
Choose this if you want to start a new plan.

SAVE your travel plan: 
This will save the plan that you have created, so you can return to it another time, and even from another computer, anywhere in the world.

OPEN a saved travel plan:  
This will open a travel plan you saved earlier.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS: 
This will provide a map with driving directions for the locations you have selected in your plan. The directions will be in order of your locations for each day, starting from the item at the top.

BOOK your travel plan: 
Would you like us to look after the logistics of your travel plan? Click on this button to send your holiday to our Travel Centre to help with your bookings - it's free.

DELETE travel plan: 
This will delete the current travel plan from your saved list.




Creating a profile:

To get the most of the Travel Planner, you will need to register your profile. Simply follow the on screen instructions when you click on the “sign in” button to register or sign-in.
