Barossa Wine Events
Celebrating wine
Visit the world-famous Barossa and see what’s on. A party is never far away.
The Barossa Gourmet Weekend is in August each year. This two day festival is celebrated throughout the region.
Each cellar door serves up its own gourmet experience. Enjoy food, wine and entertainment. Let your taste buds loose. Bring the family. Most venues have food and activities for kids. Beat the winter blues and enjoy some Barossa hospitality.
Para Road Wine Path is one of the Barossa’s best one day events. The road links several superb cellar doors. Visit Langmeil Winery, Peter Lehmann wines, Richmond Grove and Stanley Lambert. Enjoy a day of food, wine and music.
Vintage festival
The Barossa Vintage Festival is held every two years. It’s the oldest wine festival in Australia. It dates back more than sixty years. Enjoy traditional food, wine, music, art and culture.
There are more than 100 events in 9 days. Taste excellent wine and enjoy a family day out in the heritage surroundings. There are wine workshops, auctions and tastings. Play croquet, go hiking or take a helicopter flight. This is the Barossa at its best.
Keen on boutique wines?
Go to the Barossa Small Winemakers Annual Tasting at Château Tanunda. Try wine from small and independent growers. Taste Schiller, Schutz and Steinborner.
Get gourmet food and free entertainment. Selected wines are also available to taste on regular Saturdays and Sundays. Château Tanunda has worked with local producers for the last one hundred years. It’s the reason the founders built the château.
Taste the Barossa
Attend the Barossa Wine Show Public Tasting. Try the finest Barossa wines. There are over 600 all under one roof. Enjoy the chance to try wine from both boutique and iconic brands. You are all welcome.
