Wander along the boardwalk at Seal Bay, past limestone cliffs to the lookouts. Seals can be seen sunning themselves on the beach. The visitor centre also provides plenty of information about these fascinating creatures.

National parks and lighthouses

More than a third of Kangaroo Island is dedicated national or conservation park.

Trek through the stunning Flinders Chase National Park that takes up most of Kangaroo Island's western side. Visit the wind-sculpted Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch or climb the Cape Borda lighthouse and enjoy incredible views. Cavers can explore Kelly Hill Conservation Park's maze of dry limestone caves and tunnels.
