2019 Heysen Sculpture Biennial

Walk through an exhibition of contemporary sculpture staged in the beautiful grounds of The Cedars, home and former studio of one of Australia's foremost landscape artists, Sir Hans Heysen.
Works by 24 artists/artist teams, including 2 international artists, will be installed throughout the grounds, with small sculpture shown and for sale inside the Nora Heysen Studio.
This exhibition is curated by Adelaide writer, editor, art critic and artist, Stephanie Radok. The theme of the 2019 Heysen Sculpture Biennial is 'Dweling'.
Artworks range from formal sculpture to ephemeral, site-specific works.

Entrance to the exhibition opening is free (Sunday, February 24 2019). Entrance fees apply otherwise and provide access to the exhibition in grounds, and the small sculpture exhibition in the Nora Heysen Studio. Additional fees apply for tours of the Residence and the Hans Heysen Studio. Payable at the Shop.
