Plus, our sporting calendar hits full stride with the Adelaide Equestrian Festival delivering an Olympic-level competition in the heart of the city, the Santos Wheelchair Rugby World Challenge bringing four days of fast, fierce competition and the AFL Gather Round setting the stage for a weekend of sport and local experiences. That includes the Norwood Food & Wine Festival where you can pull up a chair and enjoy our Festival of Footy over a long, long lunch.

Best of the Adelaide Fringe 2026

The Adelaide Fringe is that one month a year when the city collectively forgets its bedtime. The nights are warmer and there’s that fizzy feeling in your chest, like anything could happen. You might follow the sound of a saxophone down Frome Street and find a crowd gathered around a sequin-clad busker. An hour later, you’re wedged into a Gluttony pop-up tent, laughter spilling out at the seams. These are the Adelaide Fringe events keeping the city up late.
